The images of cones on this poster are from the collection of over 650 pine cone specimens curated by the Center for Plant Diversity.

The Center is a library over over 300,000 preserved plant specimens from all over the world, with an emphasis on California plants. Their mission is to support research and teaching at UC Davis. They provide real-world museum science training to undergraduate students.

A portion of the sale price of this poster goes to support the operation of the herbarium. Poster measures 21.5 inches wide by 30.5 inches long and is printed on heavy paper with a matte satin finish.
